I reckon that a key to solving most problems is understanding. Whether it’s a performance problem related to people, physical assets or processes, the first step is probing through skilled questions. I find that not only what you ask but how you ask for information is the most critical element to gaining an understanding of a problem. Only then can your solutions have a chance at succeeding.
